Blue Peter
In 1980 Peter became the 12th Blue Peter Presenter only to leave in 1984 and then come back again in 1985 for a further stint. He has appeared on the programme many times since and in February 2007 he was awarded a gold badge for his volunteer work as Chief Scout. He occasionally wears his green and white striped suit when the mood is right.
